The Energy Division is committed to carrying out the entrusted responsibilities with full dedication through a culture of excellent and professional work in providing services to clients as follows:

• Proactively, professionally, and effectively planning the development of the energy sector;
• Executing tasks for the preparation of the Long-Term Framework, the Five-Year Development Plan, and the Mid-Term Review according to the schedule, professionally, efficiently, with quality and effectiveness;
• Evaluating, coordinating, and approving development allocations for programs and projects under the sector, in line with the schedule for preparing the Five-Year Development Plan documents and the Mid-Term Review for the Five-Year Development Plan;
• Reviewing, processing, and approving requests for changes in project scope, the establishment of new projects, and providing change notices regarding amendments to allocation ceilings within two weeks after receiving complete information from Ministries/Agencies;
• Assisting the Ministry of Finance in reviewing the annual development allocations for programs and projects approved under the Five-Year Development Plan and the Mid-Term Review for the Five-Year Development Plan according to the set schedule;
• Providing comments on the Cabinet Memorandum within two weeks from the date of receipt;
• Providing feedback on Cabinet/Ministerial decisions within three days from the date of the directive; and
• Providing comments and views on energy-related project proposals to Ministry of Economy management and notifying the applicant within one month after receiving the proposal or report from the Company/Consortium.
